Delicious Ice Cream in Birmingham, AL to Cool Off with This Summer

So… it’s getting pretty toasty outside. Burn-your-hands-on-the-steering-wheel toasty.

The way we survive this blistering heat every single year is pretty obvious: ice cream. The big decision comes down to how you take yours?

Luckily, no matter what your preferences are, Birmingham, AL does not disappoint. We’ve come up with a list of places to get ice cream so you can cool off with one of a favorite frozen treat.

Big Spoon Creamery

I first learned about Big Spoon Creamery when I tried an ice cream sandwich from their food truck at Pepper Place Market. I have always loved ice cream sandwiches, but wow- this was an upgrade.

They serve seasonal flavors so there are always new options to try and they use fresh, local ingredients to make their ice cream. Big Spoon Creamery has even started serving flights, so you don’t have to pick just one flavor!
